Lime is a very simple lightweight webmail client intended for use on mobile devices such as cell phones and PDAs. It provides a compact, elegant web interface to any IMAP mail account.
While Lime uses a few features (such as CSS and very limited Javascript) that are only supported by more advanced mobile browsers such as NetFront and Opera, it degrades gracefully and remains usable in less capable browsers.
In the interests of simplicity, Lime does not provide an interface for composing new messages, and such a feature is not likely to be added in the future.
You can give Lime a whirl if you'd like. You'll have to provide your own email server though.
You can check out the latest Lime source code from our public CVS server using the following settings:
:pserver:, :ext:, or :sserver:cvs.wonko.comanonymousanonymous/cvsrootlime
If you're using TortoiseCVS,
specify :sserver:anonymous@cvs.wonko.com:/cvsroot as
your CVSROOT and lime as the module, then enter
anonymous when prompted for a password.
