Running: Not a Good Idea

Friday December 19, 2003 @ 03:51 PM (PST)

Here’s a tip: if the most grueling physical activity you’ve undertaken in the last year is walking up one or two flights of stairs to get to work in the morning, then running back and forth across a muddy field for fifteen minutes trying to catch a damn frisbee is Not a Good Idea.

I stopped running at least thirty minutes ago and I’m still trying to catch my breath. I only just now stopped seeing double.

New Year’s resolution #1: Sit less. Move more.

I used to run 5 miles a day, 5 days a week. It was fun at the time, but that was 4 years ago. I can still run a mile in about 9-10 minutes.. :)

I'm tempted to point and laugh, but I envy the fact that you got to play some Ultimate.. I've not done that since about a year after I graduated. Lucky Bastage.

If you ever feel the urge to climb places again, and need someone who can operate a cell phone in case you pass out, I'm willing to drag my old bones along with you. :o)

You'll be very pleased to hear the you can now get your physical exercise while playing Gran Turismo in front of your big screen TV. Lucky you!
