I'm quickly approaching burnout at work. The long hours and weekends are piling up as our release date approaches.
I need a vacation. I have a fast car that'll take me anywhere in the continental United States. Where should I go?

Take the small roads
Wherever you decide to go, stay off the interstates. Your trip will be much more enjoyable.
Yellowstone...
is a fantastic place. You could stay for many many days and not see everything. Incredibly beautiful.

I'm not sure where you are located but a few friends and I go rafting up in Jackman Maine once a year. Closest cop, 75 miles away. Then again the moose are much closer than anything resembling civilization and this time of year there isn't any rafting.

Umm, somewhere without too much snow. If you select Yellowstone you may want to verify that the roads you want are still open as many of them are seasonal.

"Pie trip III : the return of the gluttony!"?

Loren will stop being in Europe soon.

More travelling? Dammit. I'm poor and tired and fat, at most I'll say maybe.

When do you get back?
re: ahhhh

If I had bothered to read Brunslo's blog before asking, I'd say that too.

California Wine Country
It sounds like you need to unwind, relax, and enjoy yourself. If you are a wine drinker, consider a wine tasting trip. Sample wine, great food, and forget about work for a few days.
