Pie Trip II begins!

Monday May 17, 2004 @ 10:41 PM (PDT)

Bright and early tomorrow morning, at the ungodly hour of 8:00 AM, Loren and Anna and I will pile our crap into the WRX and launch ourselves eastward. Updates will be sporadic since we probably won’t have Internet access until we reach the hotel in Wisconsin.

It's true. I'm putting away my toys even as we speak and am preparing the long trek home from Reed with all my earthly belongings so that I can dump them out and replace them with -- OK, so this post is dumb and I'm too tired to delete it and try again. Suffice to say, wish us luck, we're going to need it. I plan on:

  • Shaving
  • Firing a sweet handgun
  • Visiting Dollywood
  • Dying my hair at least one stupid color
  • Eating Pie
  • Watching my first mentor have the happiest day ever recorded in Wisconsin history, save for that incident with the badger

Dying your hair, eh? Be careful, wonko, that may make any shooting you do after the fact hard to edit in... :)

on an unrelated topic, I clicked a button in opera by accident and came up with a google search of sites related to wonko.com. I post the link for your entertainment. I rather like the irony of some of the hits.

That's funny...especially that there were several roleplaying game hits (including Steve Jackson games, which IIRC is pretty high up the googlemeter for "roleplaying games" searches.) I think it's funny because I don't really remember wonko ever discussing RPGs hereabouts.
