Our first earthquake!

We just felt our very first earthquake since moving to California! It was a nice little 5.6er centered just a few miles away that shook the house pretty thoroughly for ten seconds or so. Whee!

Congratulations! You experienced and blogged about the same earthquake as Joel Spolsky!

Once again, I manage to be out of town when the fun starts. How is it I live in a place all my life and never get to have any fun, but some jack rolls in from out of town and jumps the roller-coaster line in the first couple months?

IS THERE NO JUSTICE????

Just felt an aftershock. Much smaller, but still noticeable here on the sixth floor of MC2. Suck it, Goalmans!

My last earthquake was in San Fransisco 1989. Here in Virginia the ground doesn't shake. I'm happy with that!
