At home I use a Microsoft Natural Wireless Laser Mouse 6000. At work I use a Microsoft Comfort Optical Mouse 3000. For some reason, if I put my iPhone too close to the wired mouse, the mouse stops working. The phone has no effect at all on the wireless mouse. What’s going on here?

Elementary, dear Watson...
Obviously, your iPhone is emitting positrons!
Don't you mean...
tachyons my dear GreyStork?
Maybe
That means that you should maybe come back and develop for the Hiptop. Maybe?
Same thing!
Same thing happens with my iphone and my microsoft optical 3000 mouse at work.. glad i’m not the only one.. funny thing is I didn’t have the problem with my 1st gen iphone.
I found this by Googe'ing
My iPhone 3G does the EXACT same thing… I have the Microsoft Comfort Optical Mouse 3000 here at work… Weird??!!
iPhone + Microsoft Comfort Optical 3000
Yes, I have the exact same problem with the 8GB gen 1 iPhone – it makes the mouse stop working, which unplugging and re-plugging into the USB slot will reset and the mouse will start working again, but after a couple times doing this, won’t work anymore at all….? Is there another way to reset the USB port or something? I can’t even figure out how to get it to re-initialize via the device manager b/c it says the device is working properly.
At first I thought it was related to when I got text messages, so I stopped plugging in my iPhone via USB, but it’s still happening, so it does seem to be interference related.
Found this, same thing:
