Your stupendous badass for today is Comedian Mark Olver. Just after walking out onto the stage of a comedy club in the UK recently, Mark’s left knee spontaneously dislocated and he collapsed to the floor, breaking an ankle on the way. As he lay there, he continued his act, occasionally passing out due to the pain but finishing the punchlines when he regained consciousness. The audience thought it was all part of the act until 20 minutes later, when the paramedics arrived.
One of Mark’s comments to the press was, “I got a standing ovation on my way out – or so I was told as I was completely spaced out by this stage…Maybe I should do all my acts lying on the floor in pain.”
