King Kong

Most fun I've had at the movies since Serenity. Dinosaurs + huge gorilla + huge bugs + death and destruction + delicious pulpy goodness = yay.

I saw that movie last night and I thought it was horrible. Some parts of it were pretty good, but the beginning was horrible, and it was just way too long, without a lot of anything going on.

I cried tears of joy when Kong kicked the asses of not one, not two, but three T-Rexes, all while juggling Naomi Watts. I've never seen anything more beautiful in an adventure movie.

That's gotta be the most disturbing bug scene that i've seen in a long time.

Maybe this is the once in a lifetime chance for a movie geek to be noticed in a 'wider audience'... ;-)

The only thing that really disturbed me was the phallic nature of the worm-things (not the sharp ginding teeth and tendencies to swallow people whole, obviously).

It would be horrible to die by being swallowed by a giant penis.

But what an obituary it'd make.

Yeah I know theres some giant penis (peni).

The part with the T-rexes was pretty good, but I like the "Push It" Nextel commercial better. My companion wanted his money back and claimed that had he puked into a bag and filmed it, the cinematic glory would have eclipsed "King Kong." Also: Editing booth is your friend. Get one, P. Jackson. "The More You KNOW!!====*"
