Thanks to del.icio.us, Gmail, Flickr, and about a million other goddamn "Web 2.0" hippies, tagging has become one of the most popular and elegant ways of organizing diverse content on the web. I've been wanting to replace the categories on wonko.com with tags for a while now, and I finally had some time to whip up the code this weekend.
I haven't integrated tags into the search functionality yet, but that'll come soon. I'll also be adding other ways of visualizing tag usage on the site, such as a "popular tags" page and a sidebar item with recently-used tags. In the meantime, you'll have to make due with clicking the tags at the bottom of each article to navigate the tag hierarchy.
Let me know what you think.
