iPhone? Yes please.

Wow. If you haven't seen the iPhone yet, look now. Do it. Apple's always been heavy on the hype, but this time they've created something that really deserves it. This is the most beautiful gadget I've ever seen. I must have one.

It's nifty looking, all right... but is it worth switching to Cingular over?

I don't care who provides the phone service. I rarely use my phone as a phone anyway. As long as it's got passable EDGE data service (although EVDO would be better) and Wi-Fi, I'm sold. That screen is just too beautiful not to own.

I'm impressed by it, however, the only thing that made me go "Wow" was that Yahoo was offering IMAP e-mail with Push capabilities. That's pretty damn cool. Everything else is just "eh"

I'll be sticking with my HTC Wizard for now, however, I look forward to your opinions when/if you get it. You sold me on getting a Hiptop.

I thought you were overstating the case, but I followed the link. I'm a very fuzzy user, so the whole using your finger thing (as I try to do with my Palm anyway) is very appealing and everything seems incorporated so nicely and well, I am simply quite impressed. I'm trying to figure out when my Verizon contract is up...

And I dumped Cingular for dropped calls and general fuckwittery some time ago.

I wonder if the iPhone would talk nicely to Address Book on my Mac though. (I know I should be able to determine this myself, but the internet connection here is shit and Apple's site is pretty slow over it.)
