Grub horror

grub in salad I found this lovely little critter in my dinner this evening. Very nearly ate him, too. Yum. That's what I get for trying to eat healthy for once.

The salad was triple washed, though, so at least it was a clean grub.

Been there, tried that. For me, it was a big old beetle, though. Of course, this was in an Air Force cafeteria, which are not known for their attention to detail. But then, we weren't real people - only soldiers. ;)

Fresh Express

We usually eat Fresh Express salad-in-a-bag, and have never come across anything like this. At least I don't think we have.
