Boredom is a condition inflicted upon one's self. It is usually those who lack creativity who find themselves bored. In this immediate gratification world which some of us live, anything that isn't two clicks, two minutes drive, or immediately viewable on the TV is dubbed "boring."
Have you taken a look out the window lately? You can find beauty and inspiration in bumper-to-bumper traffic, or waiting in line, or waiting for your web page to refresh.
IMHO, with all of the stuff going on and available to us today, nobody has the right to say, "I'm bored."

It's true. My inability to find beauty in the billboards and concrete barriers on the side of the highway—the ones I see twice a day, five days a week—indicates a serious lack of creativity on my part.
Maybe some hallucinogenic drugs would help. Which ones do you use? Those seem like a good place to start.

How'd you mount the camera? Was it just a typical run-of-the-mill camera with the video set up? I may try the same some time, though my commute is two stop signs and about 3 minutes...

What is the song?
No title
"Believe" by The Bravery, from The Sun and the Moon.
My commute
My commute looks just like that, except one exit shorter, and immeasurably less cool. My car seriously lacks cool.

AWESOME. Way to take the absurdity of commuting and make it into something beautiful. :)
101N
very cool video! i am inspired to do my own!
ok, i gots some questions:
1) what kinda car is that? i like the hood scoop :)
2) where you coming in from? it almost looks like you took 101N all the way in. i live off of the blossom hill exit, so a lot of that looked familiar.
Re: 101N
1. It's a Subaru WRX.
2. Holy craps, we're neighbors! That was indeed the Blossom Hill exit you saw me start at.
My short-ass commute
After Ryan posted this, he and I were joking that my commute would be nothing but a blip but in fact, it was a bit longer.
I went to a
private school near you on Leigh Ave.

Re: Camera Mount
The camera is a typical Sony camcorder. I attached it to the underside of my car's moonroof with a suction cup mount.
